Services
Whole House Inspections – starting at $300
Our most popular service, and best value, is a Whole House Inspection (WHI). A WHI includes these components among others: the condition of the home’s heating system; central air conditioning system (temperature permitting); interior plumbing and electrical systems; the roof, attic and visible insulation; walls, ceilings, floors, windows and doors; chimneys, the foundation, basement and structural components.
Included with the WHI, you will receive a custom, three-ring binder to hold your printed report, as well as a maintenance schedule, a reference book on all your basic home systems, and a copy of the American Society of Home Inspectors standards of practice and code of ethics, which we support. Completed reports are emailed to you within 24 hours of the inspection in a format that can be easily printed or shared with others, and that includes color pictures of your property. Call us today for a quote on your home.
Wood Destroying Pest Inspections (Termite Inspections) - $70
As an added value, we offer Wood Destroying Pest Inspections (WDI), commonly called Termite inspections. WDI’s are typically $70 for homes under 4000 square feet.
Radon Screenings - $130 (with a WHI)
Radon screenings take a minimum of 48 hours to complete. We can set the test up prior to your inspection so that your results are available the same day the inspection is performed, or we can set the equipment up at the inspection and provide the results to you after the required 48 hour testing period.
Radon is a naturally occurring, cancer-causing, radioactive gas that you can’t see, smell or taste. Radon is caused by the decomposition of rock and minerals in the soil beneath a home, and enters the home through cracks and crevices in the foundation and structure. Its presence in your home can pose a danger to your family's health. Radon is the leading cause of lung cancer among non-smokers. Radon is the second leading cause of lung cancer in America and claims about 20,000 lives annually. Radon can easily be reduced to EPA acceptable levels by installing a low-maintenance, minimally intrusive reduction system. For more information on radon gas, please visit the Environmental Health Agency website at http://www.epa.gov/radon/pubs/index.html.
